Valentino’s Displays UK<\/a> has just finished custom wooden coat hangers for our client, Nike. We were required to laser engrave 400 coat hangers in two styles with two different logos: the Nike Swoosh and the NSW collection logo. <\/span><\/p>\n

Look at the original whitewashed wooden hangers before we started this display project<\/a><\/span>. <\/span>You’ll never believe the finished articles are the same hangers!<\/span><\/p>\n

So, we began our first day by laser engraving the whitewash coat hangers<\/a>. Etching them with each logo into the surface of the wood. It took us one full day of work to achieve this result. <\/span>On the second day, we needed to prepare the branded hangers for re-spraying. So, all the hangers needed to be primed before this was possible. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our client required the chrome hangers to be the same colour as the finished article. However, on the clip-style hangers, they wanted the chrome peg clips and bottom bar left as they were. Therefore, they had to be masked up before being powder-coated. Not spraying the trouser clips and chrome bar is wise, and we would have suggested this also, as the clips are adjustable in size, so over time, they would have taken the paint off, and it wouldn’t have looked good at all!<\/span><\/p>\n

The priming and painting process took us the second and third days of this project. Our client required these clothing hangers in a specific RAL colour, which on this occasion was a dark matt grey powder coat finish. Delivery was made within three days (the deadline we needed to meet)\u2014now that’s some going!<\/span><\/p>\n
