In loving memory of his Grandad whom he was named after, Valentino&#8217;s Displays <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/charity-2016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sponsored charity of the year for 2016<\/a> is the British Heart Foundation. The British Heart Foundation is the nation&#8217;s heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Coronary heart disease is the UK&#8217;s single biggest killer but they are leading the fight against it. Pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our new 2016 challenge is completely different and arguably our biggest fundraising challenge to date. Most of the 2,000 challengers taking part will be walking at their own pace, quite a few will jog parts, and some will run the full 100km distance. We are only challenging ourselves to the half challenge of this full circuit which is 54km (approx 33.5 miles!!). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/blog\/gsr-2015-completed-700-00-donated-to-cystic-fibrosis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unlike recent years<\/a> this will be a sponsored walk rather than a run over a much longer distance.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Join us on the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ultrachallenge.com\/south-coast-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Coast Challenge<\/a> over the Bank Holiday weekend 27 &#8211; 28 August where we will be raising money for our 2016 sponsored charity The British Heart Foundation.
