{"id":530,"date":"2011-08-09T15:29:25","date_gmt":"2011-08-09T15:29:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/blog\/?p=530"},"modified":"2022-05-12T17:06:16","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T16:06:16","slug":"new-fareham-multi-storey-car-park-set-to-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/blog\/new-fareham-multi-storey-car-park-set-to-open\/","title":{"rendered":"New Fareham multi-storey car park set to open 15th August 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We announced some time<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">ago<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">that the new multi-storey car park in <a href=\"https:\/\/farehamshopping.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fareham shopping centre<\/a> was to open soon well the date has been confirmed as the 15th August 2011 to be open to the public at 9.30am.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-531 size-medium\" title=\"New Multi-Storey Car Park Fareham\" src=\"https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/New-Multi-Storey-Car-Park-Fareham-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"New Multi-Storey Car Park Fareham\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/New-Multi-Storey-Car-Park-Fareham-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.valentinosdisplays.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/New-Multi-Storey-Car-Park-Fareham.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Mayor of Fareham will be driving through a ribbon into Fareham\u2019s new multi-storey car park to official open it next Monday (August 15). Warsash Councillor Trevor Cartwright will be opening the four-floor car park with 209 spaces when the mayor\u2019s car is driven into the new facility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Sean Woodward, will be sitting alongside the mayor at the opening event at 9 am. It will then be ready for the public to use at 9.30am.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">He said: \u201cIt brings it into public use and it\u2019s offering another 209 spaces to users of the shopping facilities in Fareham. I\u2019m sure people will be very pleased to use it and I expect to find it busy very quickly.\u201d He added: \u201cIt will be another pay on foot car park and people can pay when they\u2019re leaving, which is what people told us they like.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fareham Borough Council struck a deal with Fareham Shopping Centre Trustees to knock down the former multi-storey car park to build another one for the new Debenhams store.
