Antonio from Valentino’s Displays completed the Morrisons 2015 Great South Run on October 25, 2015. He ran for our 2015 sponsored charity, Cystic Fibrosis, achieving a time of 1hr 21mins for the 10-mile course around Portsmouth, Hampshire.
A personal best achieved on the day, eclipsing his effort in 2012 of 1hr 25mins, and raising £700.00 in donations this time. The weather was perfect for runners, a beautiful day on the South Coast with temperatures up to 16 degrees. A calm, windless autumn morning in Portsmouth meant the notorious last 2 miles along the Seafront, which usually has you running into a strong wind, made it easier for runners to reach the finish line.
On the day he ran with his friend Michael, who was running his first-ever 10-mile event. Well done on your own PB!
