Don’t touch but a must-see! “Too Hot To Stay Hanging”

We recently had the pleasure of producing some custom coat hangers for a client of ours. We were asked to produce some branding in the form of a laser etch on a particular coat hanger that was to be rolled out to a number of stores.

First of all, it was important that our customer decided on the correct wooden hanger for their requirement. This was established and the particular clothes hanger we would be working with for this project was our FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) wishbone with Non-slip Trouser Bar.

We were tasked to create an etching “Too Hot To Stay Hanging” logo central in the neck area of the hanger. We also had to produce a second etching down one arm (left facing) halfway down with the words “Treasure. Gems. Brands. Events. Rewards”. We were under a strict time restraint to turn the order around which we delivered on time to a very satisfied customer.

Typically we usually laser etch one logo per hanger and this was the first occasion where we had to do a multiple etching. There is no limit to the number of engraves that we can do on any given hanger when it comes to laser engraving, it’s really up to you! This was a very similar project we did for Humdrum Apparel back in 2013. Using the same hangers, Humdrum Apparel required one etching of its logo.

Below are some of our favourite images of the job. Ultimately our client was trying to achieve a look where the branding would be darkened to stand out in comparison to the main body of the hanger. On this hanger, as you can see this was achieved, and both etch created a “burnt effect”. This was the target!
