Valentinos Displays will be entering the Bupa Great South Run in October this year for its chosen charity – Children with Cancer UK. Antonio Valentino will be taking part in the Great South Run on October 28th in Portsmouth.
The Great South Run, takes place over a 10-mile course through the streets of Portsmouth, passing landmarks such as HMS Victory and the Spinnaker Tower. Around 25,000 runners will take part in this highly popular run, raising millions for a variety of charities. The 10 mile course offers a wide range of views and historic sites along the way. Along with the thousands of fun runners, club athletes and charity teams, will be a mix of celebrities and elite athletes from around the world. Valentinos Displays whose sponsored charity of the year for 2012 formerly Children With Leukaemia is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to determining the causes, finding cures and providing care for children with cancer.
Funding life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood leukemia and other childhood cancers, and work to protect young lives through essential welfare and campaigning programmes. Receiving no funding from the UK government, relying solely on voluntary donations from the public. Their work is supported by many worldwide famous people, loyal volunteers and the generosity of individuals and businesses who help raise the funds to save lives to fight cancer.
