The Wait Is Over – Whiteley Shopping Centre Opens Today 11 am 23/5/13. You can find out more about Whiteley Village or also known as Whiteley Shopping Centre by visiting our last week’s blog post.
We have listed below a 5-day initial diary that the shopping centre will have in place especially attractions for young children. We look forward to visiting this retail shopping centre.
Whiteley’s Five Day Diary
Thursday 23 May
9 am: Wave FM begin the celebrations with an outside broadcast
10 am: Photobooth in The Treehouse opens
10.55 am: Countdown to Whiteley’s grand opening
11 am: Whiteley officially opens
During the day you will be treated to a spectacle of street entertainment including Top Bananas – a stilt-walking band of musicians, and the crazy antics of Granny Turismo racing around on Segways. There’s balloon modelling, food sampling from retailers and much, much more…
5 pm: Street entertainment finishes
6 pm: Kids activities end
7 pm: LED stilt walkers and Glowing Peacocks
7.45 pm: Heliosphere performance
8 pm: Whiteley stores close, restaurants remain open till late
Friday 24 May
9 am: Whiteley opens
10 am: Kids activities and photo booth in The Treehouse
5 pm: Kids activities end
8 pm: Whiteley stores close, restaurants remain open till late
Saturday 25 May
9 am: Whiteley opens
10 am: Kids activities and photo booth in The Treehouse
11 am: Catch The Cosmic Sausages, the brilliant and highly entertaining four-piece band
11.30 am: Penny Arcade barbershop quartet
12noon: Fashionistas won’t want to miss our special fashion showcases put together by Whiteley’s personal stylist. Make sure you’re in the front row for our Whiteley Edits every hour on the hour. Last one at 5 pm
12.15 pm to 5 pm: Street entertainment and kids activities
8 pm: Whiteley stores close, restaurants remain open till late
Sunday 26 May
11 am: Whiteley opens – kids activities and photo booth in The Treehouse
12noon until 4 pm: Don’t miss our fashion showcase. The Whiteley Edits will be presented every hour on the hour
5 pm: Whiteley stores close, restaurants remain open till late
Monday 27 May
9 am: Whiteley opens. Photobooth in The Treehouse
10 am: Kids activities begin
12noon; 2 pm; 3 pm and 4 pm: The kids won’t want to miss out on meeting our special guests
